Horseback Riding

In posts and water holes in the foothill region near the Gran Mendoza area, visitors may ride past abandoned colonial gold and silver mines, especially in Potrerillos and Cacheuta valleys, meadows, and ravines.
Horse-back riding is also available in the Manzano Histórico area, Villavicencio ravine or across the hills and valleys in Uspallata. Horse-back riding across these natural sites is an unforgettable experience.
Visitor may also want to go horse-back riding across Telteca forest and lagoon areas in Lavalle; las Cerrilladas, and Huayquerías in Luján and Valle de Uco; Atuel Canyon, Nihuil dam and Sosneado, besides the inexhaustible Mendoza southern region featuring Valle Hermoso, Los Molles, Las Leñas, and La Payunia.
The Crossing of the Andes, following General San Martin’s steps, is a 5-10 adventure.
Main locations of practice: Villavicencio, Quebrada de Horcones surrounding Aconcagua Hill, Cacheuta, Potrerillos, Cordón del Plata, San Carlos, San Rafael, Malargüe or cordillera crossing through several paths including Valle de los Aviones.
