Adventure Tourism

Exploring, discovering and inventing are exciting and not so expensive activities. The three of them are related to adventure tourism specially for those who see nature as an evolving laboratory and want to change the city for something completely different.

To face any kind of adventure travel is necessary a Little of bravery, a little of self improvement and, above all, knowing which way adapts better to our personal expectations: we have to decide wether we prefer doing it by land, by water or by air. For any of the posibilities, Mendoza is an excelent stage.

The most espectacular territorial adventures take place in the mountain. The descents between defiles and ravines(speleology), trekking, mountain bike, climbing or snow sports are challenges that all of us, some more than others, have been tempted to accept.

Among aquatic activities, rafting is the one with more followers. And all of them obey the same king: a capricious tyrant river that, proud of his Andean dominion, does not allow domination.

But besides water and land, mankind continues chasing Icaro’s dream. It does not matter that humanity counts with powerful airplanes; the naturalness of birds will never stop astonishing us and producing us healthy envy. Free flight with paraglider (a rectangular parachute), hang-gliding (triangular wings), balloning and parachuting are attempts, more or less accurate, of conquer air.
