Malbec: National Drink Wine

Since 2010 Malbec wine is considered a “national drink” after a decree signed by President Cristina Fernandez in the presence of representatives of Argentina’s wine industry.
Thus, the wine will the same status as the kapok (national flower) or duck (national sport).
“Wine is about the identity and culture of a people and also it is recommended in appropriate amounts. It’s good for health”said the president.
“Wine is an honorable Argentine ambassador to the world and the pride of the Argentine domestic market drink the same wines that export and prestige to the country all continents, “the presidential decree which declared as national drink wine.
