Historical tourism in Mendoza is one of the richest in Argentina.
The central valley of what is today the territory of the province was occupied by various agricultural groups that had previously been dominated by the Incas, genericallynamed by Spaniards as Huarpes.
Mendoza proudly keeps signs of its history, mainly in the north of the province and in some of the remains of the Inca Trail that got to Mendoza from Cuzco.
Even if the heritage relating to the origins of Mendoza is vast, there is no doubt that the largest quantity is intertwined with San Martin’s campaign.
