Glacial lagoon located 2,950 m high. Thaw water running down from Tolosa Mount feeds it.
Its perimeter is 80 m approximately. 500-year lichens may be found on its bank.
This lagoon will remain an inseparable companion of the Aconcagua in visitors minds. The captivating landscape given by the two lagoons settled there –with the vegetation, water fauna, condors and guanacos, and some pumas, make up the perfect scenery for photographic safaris or simply sightseeing.
